Viscoderm and Restylane in Beckenham

Aside from ageing, when the seasons change, so does our skin. At differing times of the year, it is not uncommon for our skin to lack moisture, resulting in dull and tired looking skin. Viscoderm and Restylane are non-surgical treatments that aid anti-aging, adding volume and hydration to the skin to create a youthful, smoother facial appearance.

Why you might choose Viscoderm and Restylane

Over time, the radiance of our skin will disappear, allowing fine lines and wrinkles to appear. This is due to a lack of moisture and volume, resulting in over stretching of the skin. Viscoderm and Restylane work independently of one another, illuminating the skin once more, restoring hydration and smoothing any fine lines around the eyes and mouth.

How Viscoderm and Restylane works

Both Viscoderm and Restylane work to provide your skin with the essential hydration that it has lost, reversing the effects of aging or dullness. However, they both work in slightly alternate ways to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to find the treatment best suited to them, no matter their skin type.

Viscoderm is a pure Hyaluronic Acid injectable treatment. It offers deep hydration within the layers of your skin, improving elasticity, and radiance whilst naturally plumping out fine lines and creases. This non-surgical treatment is commonly used as natural alternative to Botox (Botulinum toxin). The treatment is expected to last around 45 minutes in total, with effects visible within 1-2 weeks. We recommend 2 sessions of Viscoderm, 8 weeks apart.

Restylane takes approximately 30 minutes to administer. There are several types of Restylane available, the most appropriate of which will be selected depending on your skin type and desired results. When compared to Viscoderm, Restylane is known to have a higher activity of ingredients.

Your practitioner will assess your skin and decide on the most suitable Restylane combination for you, with results visible a week later.

How long Viscoderm and Restylane will last

The effects of Viscoderm are expected to last for around six months. However, this varies between different skin types.

The results from Restylane are long-term. Depending on the strength of your Restylane treatment, the effects may last up to a year and a half.

Skin Boosters are a brand new approach to nourishing your skin, especially designed to deliver deep-skin hydration. This means increasing hydration levels within the skin to deliver lasting moisturisation and improvements on the skin's surface, creating a fresh and natural look.

Viscoderm

Viscoderm is referred to as a "skin booster". It helps restore the support structures of skin tissue, resulting in increased tone, elasticity and firmness. The treatment areas coincide with all areas of skin affected by the ageing process. The indications for Viscoderm products vary from facial treatments to specific areas of the body.

We would recommend 4 treatments sessions with 2-3 week intervals per cycle. 2 cycles per year are recommended.
